About this property

Welcome to Harbor Towers

Harbor Towers is a resort hotel located on Siesta Key’s scenic Intracoastal Waterway, offering convenient access to the beach and local attractions. The property benefits from its setting at 5855 Midnight Pass Rd, placing guests within easy reach of Siesta Beach, known for its fine white quartz sand, and cultural sites like The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. Tampa International and Sarasota Bradenton International Airports are also within reasonable driving distance, supporting straightforward arrival and departure options.

The accommodation consists of privately owned condos featuring screened balconies with views over the marina and water. Facilities include a well-maintained outdoor pool, boat slips, and communal spaces such as picnic areas with grills. Guest reviews highlight the comfort and cleanliness of the units, though it is noted that amenities like the pool area can feel somewhat limited in size. The property’s environment appeals to visitors looking for a peaceful retreat where activities like kayaking, fishing, and dolphin watching are readily accessible.

Amenities include free parking, Wi-Fi, beach access, and a golf course nearby, reinforcing the resort’s appeal for both relaxation and recreation. The smoke-free environment makes it suitable for guests seeking a clean and accessible setting. While the place is popular among retirees and longer-term visitors, families and younger travelers may find fewer on-site social opportunities.

Guest feedback varies, with many appreciating the helpful staff, well-kept grounds, and quiet atmosphere. Some reviews mention that building rules can feel restrictive, and others note the condominium nature means experiences may differ depending on individual owners’ updates and maintenance. Overall, Harbor Towers suits travelers interested primarily in sightseeing, outdoor activities, and a location convenient for exploring Siesta Key and the Sarasota area.

This is a beautiful condo building. This unit, 311 is wonderful. Very comfortable and clean. The screened in balcony looks out onto the yacht club and a view of the water. The pool area is nice and clean and there are grills to use if you want to grill burgers or steaks or whatever you like. There is a nice covered patio area and a community room and a full kitchen. On the backside of the harbor there are places to sit and fish, or relax just watching the water. The owners left on the entry table two very nice thank you gifts. We will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I just spent 16 days in Harbor Towers #414. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The condo was nice and the owner even sent us a new blender when the other one didn’t work. 414 is perfect for two people, and we loved the lanai, although it never got the sun. Harbor Towers as a whole is excellent. The staff and the residents were all very welcoming and helpful. The pool area is beautiful, albeit a little small for a building of this size. We especially liked sitting in the bayside area - quieter and more peaceful, especially in the afternoon. Our main concern is that even though it advertises easy access to the beach ( and the picture of the property is a bit misleading), it is not convenient to get to the public beach. All the properties across the street are private, so you have to walk quite a ways to a public beach, or try and park in the massive public parking lots. The main draw of going to Siesta Key is the beach ( and certainly not the traffic gridlock). Our other main obstacle to returning is the upcoming two year project to replace the windows. We have been in a building with such a project and it is annoying to say the least. So, all in all, we loved our stay, and hope to return in a couple of years.

We have stayed in several rooms and all were kept up nicely, most have been recently renovated. Out front the turtles love blueberries. The intercoastal fishing is excellent and lots of chairs to lounge, read, and dolphin watch. The pool area is nice with plenty of chairs. Grounds are nicely maintained. Boat slips look roomy. There are A LOT of stupid rules that have stopped us from buying here though. Beware of nosey naysayers!!

A lifetime I have been vacationing to Harbor Towers. The units are privately owned as ours has been in the family my entire life. Amenities are suffice, nice lobby, pool, gym and a dated tennis court. Private boat slips for owners with access to the inner coastal water way between Siesta Key and the Florida mainland. 10-15 minute walk to Siesta Key beach or drive over in less than 5 minutes.

Harbor Towers provides the best of both worlds, You are on the IntraCoastal so you can Kayak, Fish or just catch a Sunrise at the seawall while looking for Dolphins, and its a short walk or free trolley ride to the Siesta Key Beach voted #1 in the USA with its white powdery sand, there is nothing like it!

We have stayed here 2 years in a row for over 2 weeks each time. I am so pleased with this experience. Each condo can vary depending on what the owner does for upgrades. I haven’t had any complaints yet. Very impressive and of course I’ll be back next year.

Nice and convenient place. So close to siesta beach which you can walk or take the trolley. This condo building has the nice pool (which has grills and tables/ chairs for picnic and party) and good view of the marina boat docking. Hallway is very wide and clean. Will expect to see a lot of retirees, either living in the building or visiting. Has parking for guests. Wishing there were more families with children around.
